A Street and a Violin
A reluctant street with unknown thoughts,
an empty bin on an empty lane,
images of time when I wasn’t there
recall me of some unknown pain.
If violin notes travel here,
if music stitches all desires,
if spaces cry unheard notes,
let me make an empty song.

Desire of a Lifetime
A lonesome lunatic on a lifeless lane,
trying to find his long-lost love,
trying to kiss her loveless lips,
trying to get the love of life.
And I would be the lonesome lunatic,
if you would promise me loveless life,
if you would make my day and night,
if you would let me wander love.
Your grace, your beauty drives me on,
on a darkened parkstreet when I’m alone,
your loveless lips make me wild,
to the extent till I go blind.
So make my night o lonesome dear,
’cause I have wandered thousand nights ,
on a lonesome street with a lonesome heart,
so make me reach the extreme heights.

aha eerie! nice to see thy poems here!
had read ur lonesome lunatic at the draft stages almost an year back i guess… the shorter poem, i felt was more appealing but nonetheless both are good in their own right! keep writing!
Read the first poem…and I already like the poet behind the poem. The rhythm is very fluid.
A Street and a Violin:
Very very eerie and haunting. Well done!
Desire of a lifetime:
Excellent thought, excellently expressed.
Kudos!
I want to see your blog.
