Through paper, glass, colour and tears


The Man and his Muse
A poet and his mermaid. Their world of blues merge softly but surely, and frames hang askew, letting her out and him in.


The Man and his Mannequin
Seen on a certain Sunday on a railway platform. A hawker patiently drags a mannequin across the platform to the ladies’ compartment, hoping to attract buyers for his garishly coloured blouses.


The Muse herself

Hidden as always, draped in misty glass-panes. Nameless she remains, providing colour to fervent brush-strokes on certain nights of cold winter rain.

Anurima Sen is an Undergraduate student of English Literature at Jadavpur University, Calcutta. She loves writing meaningless poetry, and hates explaining them. She also spends most of her time formatting her pre-historic computer. All the works in this Art Feature have been done using Adobe Photoshop.
